GA Tech Volunteers Are Back Spring 2022

Neighbors, another group of fantastic student volunteers from Georgia Tech spent last Saturday in Walter's Woods, helping to beautify our green space! They weeded the paths and spread fresh mulch, added to the dead hedges and brush piles, cut back an enormous invasive tree, and planted several native plants. Be sure to notice all their hard work next time you stroll through Walter's Woods. And thanks to Kiki Abom for contributing homemade cookies, and to Amy Robinson and Linda Coarsey for buying the lunch fixings!

Building the brush pile.

Some coffee and muffins to start the day.
